The coat of arms is that of Mauritius. Don't know what LD stands for, though.

During WWII there was a Mauritius Home Guard unit called the Mauritius Defence Force. Complete speculation on my part, but could the LD possibly stand for Local Defence? So along with the C-of-A it could read Mauritius Local Defence.
