Default RECCE white metal cap badge
I have this RECCE white metal cap badge and would like other members opinions of it, a badge I have had for some considerable time and may consider moving it on.

Rob,

I am no expert on WW2 badges but the lugs look very footed and the badge looks wafer thin so off the photos I would say a dud.

A dud in my opinion as well. A poor effort of a badge.

Simon, thanks for your comment, the lug furthest away has feet, but the one closer has the bottom of the lug covered with braze, the badge is not that thin IMO, but the lettering looks rubbed, possibly to add age/wear.

CB my photography is not that good, but the badge is IMO sturdy as it does not bend easily, thanks for your thoughts.

I have a board, with several variants on. Also a further board so I will post them for interest. Note the extremely rare Red Indian chief prototype badge

I have this one that I will be moving on soon. It appears to have brass coloured, rather than copper, D shaped lugs.
