Black watch Oddity
Received this badge among a large lot of Canadian Scottish regt badges. Was surprised when I turned this one over. Is this a legit badge? Martingale... shoulder belt?... crude restrike?... I'm not sure if the photo will show them but the whole reverse is covered with small circular press marks... not sure what they are about either... have fun with this one Jim

I also have a BW badge with the same marks on the reverse. While the size of the badge is ok, the thickness iss off (to thick). I took it as a badge for mounting on regalia or a plaque ect.

The badge is the M11 pattern, approved by GO in 1939. The tang fasteners are most likely used to fasten to leather or some such material. Perhaps this is a cross belt badge?
