Italian (?) Motorcyclists Patch

Hi Gents,

With great thanks to a fellow forum member I was sent this really stunning motorcycle patch you see here.

I understand it is likely an Italian motorcyclist or despatch rider patch from WWII or perhaps post war.

I would love to get more details and a positive identification, so any help would be very much appreciated???
