1 AA Corps WW2 FS?
Howard Cole records a design of formation badge for 1 AA Corps, but I have never seen one in real life. Was it only a sign used on vehicles and noticeboards etc.
A red eagle in flight with arrow piercing its breast, set upon a blue background. Thanks, Stephen.

Hi Stephen
Here is a picture of the badge you are describing 1st Anti-Aircraft Corps, I have had several over the years and this is one I had back in the summer. They do turn up every so often. Hope this helps. Robin McGregor |

Robin,
Thank you. Do you know if they came in facing pairs? Regards, Stephen.

Marc,
I'm ignorant on this subject, hence my thread. My description was taken from Howard Cole's book, and as it matches the specimens pictured by Robin and John I am happy Cole got it right. Only downside is that I'm adding badges to a wants list, not discounting them! Now, if you can tell more about one with a white background I'm all ears. Stephen.
