Fair point.

And Lambourne Britannia seems to have a bit of a leak going on at her feet between the trident and the shield. A couple of puddles have collected there. Hope everything is okay?

Does anyone have a bi-metal version of this all-G/M, please?

There's a lot of fair wear 'n' tear... I'm not even sure if it's a kosher badge.

Andy beat me to it but knew I’d seen a BM version of that type.

I love the 1980s perm on Britannia.

Hope this helps. One of the all-GM variations? I understand from this forum there are 3 all-GM variations? I have seen two, the 'not-Gaunt' and this one (if an original).

Cool.

Oh right. I didn't know that. To date, just three all-G/Ms 'recorded'.

Flat Drawn bar, it would be a bit more expensive to use than the usual cheaper flat rolled bar known otherwise on here as extruded sliders.

There are twelve (12) variants of the bi metal Norfolk Regiment cap badges that I have identified so far. Three (3) all Gilding metal (GM), sometimes referred to as 1916 economy badges. Two (2) variants of lugged white metal badges, not referring to the 1VB, 2VB, 3VB or 4VB, but with "THE NORFOLK REGT" on the scroll. I also have a silver plated lugged badge, an all GM (possibly bronzed) lugged badge and one or two anomalies to boot.

As to who made them, other than the obvious, I can't really help I'm afraid.

Oh, and good luck with a 1VB or a 3VB. I have been looking for more year than I can remember with no luck so far.

Interesting. Thanks Andy.

Do all these sliders have the 'sock tie' end?

Nozzer, thanks very much for your info. Would you happen to have a photo of the 3rd all-GM? I would love to know what die it came from, or was it never produced in BM?

Thank you gents. Just took a break to sort a few things out, but I hope to be back with a bit more enthusiasm.

So:

1) was your SP lugged example struck from one of the twelve BM dies?

2) ditto your all-G/M (possibly bronzed)?
