Default This one has me stumped...

Hi, everyone. Found this collar badge a while back and it's got me completely bamboozled. Have done image searches, guessed at names and other than determining that it looks like a first pattern Royal Armoured Corps badge, the first letter is clearly not an "R". Any assistance on ID would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Thank you all. Indian Armoured Corps was one path I chased, could not find anything to confirm.
