Glider Pilot Regiment bullion wings?
This looks to me to be a post 1953 Glider Pilots Regiment bullion wing. I am not sure if it is for a dress uniform or a mess jacket, Could anyone enlighten me please?
It may be offered for sale once I know exactly what it is. |

Looks to me more like an Army Flying Badge, intended for wear on blue patrols. It enured (endures) long past the demise of the GPR. Mess wings were smaller and narrower. The Museum of Army Flying still sells them. Their website states that wire embroidered is worn on Service Dress now, also.

Many thanks for the information. I should obviously lower the price that I am asking if they are still available to buy new.
