Default Div/Dist Patch 1950s/60s

Hi All

Can anyone ID the Divisional or District patch on the shoulder of this 1RD Corporal?

My guess is Northumberland District / Northern Command....Blue square with the shield having yellow/red stripes?

This pattern of sign - St Oswald's shield - was adopted in 1946, replacing a similar design but with three red and three yellow bars.
HQ Northumbrian Distrct was located in Catterick Camp. Mike
