Default Some new Police badges and questions

Some recent purchases for views and opinion, nothing rare.
Re the Blackpool Collar. Would I be correct in assuming that this badge was a generic corporation type badge and could be worn by other uniformed services?
In regard to the BTP badge. I assume this is a senior ranks badge, but I have seen this design badge without enamel. Was the non enamel star for other ranks? or is it just that the enamel has broken off these badges?
The Notts SC I have shown simply because I had no idea Hiatts made badges. Or did they use a badge manufacturer?
The MOD badge is Toye, Kenning and Spencer.

The chrome Blackpool coat of arms was a generic badge worn by Corporation employees. The "square" shaped badge is from Blackburn not Blackpool. It was worn as a cap badge and as a collar badge.

The blue ring BTP cap badge was worn by Inspectorate ranks. The one without the enamel by Sgts and Const. ranks.

As far as I'm aware Hiatts did not manufacture badges, but did retail them. The style of manufacture suggests that Fattorini were the manufacturer.

Dave.
