I think I can identify a couple of them for you.

Bottom right is a Gyro Compass Technician (Elektrik shturmanskiy).

Top right is a Machinist (Mashinist).

The surrounding circle being in gold signifies that the badge is worn by a Warrant Officer (Michman) or Chief Petty Officer (Glavnyy starshina). All lower rates wear badges with a red circle.

I can't really help you with the others I'm afraid.

Pete

Hi Steve

The strip reads MILITSIYA = Police.

All the best

Default Hello

Guzzman & Graham

Thanyou both so very much, I have had these badges from the 80's . There are a number of books with badges of the Army & Airforce , but not a lot about the Navy.

Many thanks to you both.
