Hi Mike, the owner of these items has now sadly past, one of the old n bold was Brian took me TWO days to look through his collection perhaps one of the best collections o f metal shoulder titles in private hands, he was buying them for pence in the 1970,s ( he always claimed he was too poor to afford proper badges ....) I may be off with my memory but still think Brians Dad was serving in the 1950s and the box abd badge was a gift for gardening or house repairs ? If u can let me know for certain it would be great many thanks

I may be incorrect but though the father was Groom for the 4 Cdo CO, (an avid polo player) - later helping with his horses, so no recollection about gardening etc. I may be mistaken, but understood this to be the case.
