On War Service 1915 two variations
Two variations of the same badge, the one on the left is the standard brass type marked: 'S' J R Gaunt & Son Ltd 26417
The one on the right caught my eye as it had a Gilt finish, although most of it has gone. The reverse is marked: 'P' D G Collins Newgate St London Warranted Fire gilt 49888 The one on the right came with some Ceylon military badges, is the one on the right as common? Does ant one know what the 'S' or 'P' denotes? Thanks for looking. |
