Irish Guards tunic
The Irish Guards had a recruiting team in Chester today( 7th March 2020 ) and part of the display was the rather nice tunic in the attached photos. I was surprised when a member of the team assured me that it was actually the tunic worn by Prince William.
Would make a nice addition to someone’s Guards collection. P.B.

That's pretty good! I was not familiar with this one. Always loved the nicknames of British regiments. They always seem to touch on some truth, regardless if sometimes less than complimentary.

I seem to recall reading that at one time the largest branch of the Irish Guards Association outside of London was in Liverpool.
