Default ID, please. "WSY" and dragon

Your assistance is requested for the identification and approximate dates of use of this brass button.

Description: Old English/Gothic letters that appear to be "WSY" below a dragon rampant. Reverse very lightly marked "J.R.GAUNT & SON. LONDON.ENGD."
