I attach photographs of the front and back of a RAF Works and Buildings badge which I understand was used between 1921 and 1929. It has a slider so does this mean it was worn as a cap badge rather than a shoulder title? Is this a scarce badge?

Yes its a cap badge, also found with rear loops, exactly the same, as a collar badge.

It is scarce.
