Charge CPO Insignia Yes or No
I received this badge as a gift in about 1992 from an RN CPO and I am certain he said it was the insignia for a Charge Chief Petty Officer. When I googled the insignia for a CCPO it states/shows the Crown above a lion. Another source indicated this badge indicates a regulating petty officer. Anybody know with some certainty?

Charge CPO Insignia Yes or No
Hi
Firstly, it is not a CCPO badge. Neither is it for a Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2). It is the badge for a Master at Arms - part of the Naval Police. I attach images of the Master-at-Arms badge and the WO2 badge for comparison. Pete

And for the sake of completeness, 2 CCPO badges, bullion and final issue lurex/gold thread.
