Hello Jerry. I remember back in the 1990s deciding to to try and collect by area- actually using a compass to draw a circle on a map set to roughly 10 miles. Only possible to do this via dealers or internet as what you may find locally is likely to have been bought elsewhere and bought back as a souvenir. I think it amazing that so much crested china has survived 100 years. Regards, Paul.
PS I've not lived in Slough for over 20 year but still buy the odd item but a year or 2 can sometimes pass. Last edited by wardog; 25-07-22 at 10:35 PM. |

I'll post a photo of my grenade later. Made by Grafton China, the crest is for Torquay. It's actually darn near the size of the real thing! Well shall we say half the size....

Paul, Thanks for the info re sizes. I have found several on eBay, but not at a price that works for me. I'll be patient and one will come along.

Terry, I expect you will have an interest in the several Edith Cavell models, and the one of a nurse and soldier and on a tangent, perhaps an invalid feeder/cup? Regards, Paul.
