The badge on the left is a Belgian Medical Corps badge.

Hi
Possibly the other one is Belgian too but maybe Italian with that crown? |

Imagery suggests some kind of anti-aircraft function as those appear to be planes to the upper left of the badge with the chap with the Superman jaw line seems to be holding a shield and casting his gaze skywards.....

The second badge is Dutch ARP (Air Raid Precautions)

2nd badge is pre/early WW2 Belgian ARP - or more accurately, Passive Air Defence. Interesting site here detailing their connection with British Civil Defence

I've removed the link I put in #7 above as the site appears to have been hacked and malicious software attached. It's one of those great little sites, lovingly created to highlight one tiny aspect of WW2, in this case, the work of Antwerp Passive Air Defence (PLB - Passieve Luchtbescherming) after liberation at the end of 1944 and it's close ties with British Civil Defence. Shame to see sites like this falling by the wayside and not being recovered. PLB badges I once owned; pre war and post war (the larger badge, worn on the Adrian - style helmet). Mike
