I wonder if the badges were mistakenly 'labelled' as 5 Medical Brigade by sellers after they were seen being worn by 5 Armoured Medical Regiment ?

Also a wiki that has the "current structure" of 101st Logistic Brigade which states :

29th Pre-Hospital Divisional Medical Group, at Bulford Camp – lead by a Colonel, "Responsible for the maintenance of combat effectiveness of Force Elements at Readiness and oversight of medical provision to 3rd (United Kingdom) Division, and the outputs of 1, 4 and 5 Armoured Medical Regiments."

This is the reply I received from the gentleman in 253 Medical regiment, re the 102 Logistic patch being worn by Reserve Medical.

253 -Hi Terry! Thanks for your message, we currently wear the Royal Army Medical Corps badge on our right arm, and the 102 Logistic Brigade badge on our left arm. If you type into google “RAMC flash” and “102 log brigade flash” you’ll find a few sites where you can buy these badges. Although I wouldn’t be 100% sure which would ship to the US. I hope this helps Hi Terry, yes, the axe head on the green patch is the 102 log brigade patch. No problem at all, you’re very welcome

254 - Hi Terry this is the 102 logistic Brigade flash. Everyone in the Brigade wears it.

Hi Terry, all Medical Regiments are in 102 our field hospitals are in 2 Medical Brigade.

Terry, each Regular Med Regt is affiliated to different Brigades, ie 16 Med Regt is part of 16 Air Assault Brigade. All Army Reserve Med Regts come under 102 Log Bde
