Default King's Liverpool Cap Badge?

Hi,

My great uncle David Griffiths fought in the King's (Liverpool) Regiment in WW1. I have a photo of him, and I can't make out what his cap badge is. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Mike

It appears to be the Manchester Regiment.

He appears to have a slip on cloth title on his epaulette which would suggest a date towards the end of the war.
