Default Boss badges worn in service dress by other ranks ?

Has anyone any information about cord boss badges possibly being worn by other ranks on services dress caps. I know that as well as officers,in some regiments they might have been worn by senior NCO`s but were they ever worn by other ranks.

Thanks in advance.

Peter,
I'm sure there's been an image shown here in the past.
Cheers Tony.

Thanks for the responses, the unit that I had the query with was the Liverpool Irish in WW1 and it now looks like it was probably senior NCOs as well as officers who wore a corded boss badge.
