Edwardian 'mufti' style button and a couple of ?colonial unknownss

I think the button in the middle could be a Militia general pattern button.

Hi there,

The first button, is depending upon size, an Officer's Cap or Mess Dress button to the West India Regiment. The cypher reads "WIR" forward and reversed. (i.e. WIRRIW).
