RC Sigs salvaged officer's set
Poking around an antique show today and came across these mounted on a crib board. The good news is they are a Scully-made officer's set, everything is maker marked, and they are in very, very nice shape. The bad news is that the posts were pressed through holes the sheet of metal that made up the top of the crib board, then the excess ground down, so there is only 1/16-3/32" of the original posts left.
I want to keep the cap badge, but I'm not a collars guy, so if there is interest in these from one of you Signals collectors, PM me.

The collars appear to be OR ones with the flags colored in. Is there any sign of enamel past or present?

Joe:
No sign of a fired glass enamel, which I take it is what you mean, just what looks to be enamel paint. I'd assumed they were the collars to the cap on the basis of the company they were keeping, the screw posts and the gilding, but maybe that is a wrong assumption. Did OR collars have screw post fasteners post-WWII? Scans of the backs attached, if that helps any.
