Someone has just listed an old Cadet Supply Department catalogue on eBay which shows the sort of items they used to offer.

Another Cadet Supply catalogue is up on eBay (or perhaps the same one with more images..!)

What caught my eye was the mention in the introduction that "all profits are devoted to cadet work and, as a first charge, five per cent of all money spent is paid, in the case of the ACF to welfare funds of the county from which the order originates, and in the case of units of the CCF to the Combined Cadet Force Association".

Bancroft's have put their school magazines on line. They records that prior to 1948 the school was part of the Essex cadet Battalion. In 1948 they became a CCF with their new badges.
