Default Singapore and Malaysian Armoured Corps Badges

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd share a picture of my Singapore and Malaysian Armoured Corps badges and patches.

Enjoy!

Great to see that stuff Mick. The Older commonwealth stuff is not too easy to find. And their modern stuff seems to still have the British influence in their designs. Thanks for sharing! David J.

Both older and newer badges aren't easy to find these days.

I'm also chasing badges worn by the Shanghai Volunteer and Hong Kong Volunteer Armoured Car companies though I won't hold my breathe trying to find them.

Mick

Hi Mick, good looking badges. I was curious as to what the Hong Kong Volunteer Armoured Car companies badge looked like. Do you have an image of the badge? best wishes and thanks for all the posts, Mike

Hi Mike,

It's actually the ACAR/HVDC title I'm chasing. Super rare I would imagine.

I think they wore the HK VDC hat badge.

Here's the latest one to my Malaysian and Singapore collection.

A Malaysian Reconnaissance Corps hat badge.

Lots of Malaysian/Singapore badges - which seem to be good - on ebay now.. from Barry Renfrew and a guy called kalpak1 (who I know is a collector of police badges from Ireland)

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Malaya-Fe...IAAOSwmh9e7Abo

There seems to be some demand for Malaysia/S'pore badges since last year. As I had posted some months earlier someone is paying very high prices for these badges…
Only a couple of weeks ago a Pagri badge to the Malay States Guides went for over 450 gbp, if I recall …

Frankly, I think these prices are over the top but I guess if you are a serious collector and have deep pockets, you cant be blamed for buying at such prices...
