Default RA TF ten leaves with berries

Looks good to me and it is on its assumed to be original cap, the makers of which went out of business in 1917. With a closer look it might be 12 leaves, gotta get those new specs.

Any thoughts on this one? As I posted I think it is fine but does anyone agree or disagree?

Thanks Simon and Tony for taking the time to post, much appreciated as always.

Still waiting for it to arrive, so no reverse picture yet and it is on an officers cap, the maker of which went out of business in 1917 which fits nicely with the date of the badge. An officers gilt version is likely, but from a search I could not find any shown on the forum, perhaps someone has one they are willing to share.

I assume it dates to between 1908 and 1917.

Still waiting for the WWI example to arrive but in the meantime after mention of gilt officers badges here is my other example, not TF this time but still a very nice officers gilt version.

Thanks John. I had already looked at it, but it never hurts to look at such a good collection more than once.

I have a few different RA badges, but nothing compared to that shown by him.

Indeed. Some of my small RA gun badge collection, all good I think. I also have a plastic RMA and some arm badges as well as some grenades.
