Default pith helmet flashes ?

These turned up the other day. The material seems to be similar to that used for WW1/WW2 pith helmet flashes. Does anyone know what unit these might be ? I guess that the they could be for a 2nd Battalion of some regiment, but which one ?

Hullo Mike

I believe that these are flashes for the 2nd Bn NMC (Native Military Corps) (aka Non European Aux Corps). They wore the "chocolate" brown coloured flashes on headgear with white numbers for their battalions in the early years of WW2. I know that there were at least 3 bns.

Dudley
