Smile Green Howard Pagree Badge

Hi all,

Another badge that has sadly been mounted with broach clasp removed.

This one a Green Howards GM OR's pagree badge worn 1890-1914. 43x37mm.

Excited as I saw this in Green Howards museum next to Officers 2nd Batt. 1890-1904 in silver and a non-voided Officers silver 1885-1890 on my recent UK trip.

Cheers Dean

Smile Green Howard's Pagree badges

Here is a bad pick from my phone when at the excellent Green Howard's museum in Richmond earlier this year. One of the cases with pagree badges on display.

The museum was closed by flooding the day before!

Recommend the badge room to all, medal room not shabby either! cheers Dean.

You may not have seen this as it is in UK but at £103 it may well be worth you getting yours repaired.

It really is a fabulous museum. The medals room is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. Presently closed but reopening soon and I cannot wait to get back for another viewing.

Smile Green Howard's pagree repaired

Thanks Alan,

That is worth knowing what the market rate is.

I should have posted this before but I had Dave wave his magic wand over it and here it is just as good as over 100 years ago.

Dave has repaired rather a few of my badges as I like to have them back to serviceable condition no matter there extrinsic value.

It is indeed a decent day out in Richmond.

My thanks and best wishes to Dave, Cheers Dean
