Question Green Howard's curved shoulder title circa 1920

Hi all,

I picked up a curved GM Green Howard's shoulder title which according to Westlake was introduced to replace York in 1920 and then replaced again later in 1921 by the two line Green Howard's title.

I wonder why it was only issued for such a short period. Mine is a little mis-shapen and was it because they were not functionally robust. I doubt when I have longer shoulder titles that had long periods of wear.

Any thoughts, cheers Dean.
