Royal Canadian Corps of Signals badge
To any of our Canadian Friends.
Can some one tell me if the attached photograph is a cap badge or a sweetheart badge please. From the photograph it looks to have a pin fixing on the back which makes me think it is a sweetheart badge. Any theories would be appreciated. Kind regards Chris Walker www.signalsbadges.co.uk |

cap badge
I agree looks like a sweetheart badge. A Canadian internet site shows photos of all the cap badges: WWW.rcsigs.ca

The dimensions are given in the lot description.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/A358-Royal-C...ht_3154wt_1399 3.7 cm x 3.5 cm The cap badges are closer to 4.5 cm x 4.5 cm. I would say sweetheart badge. Phil

RCCS Sweetheary pin
Dear Larry.
Very many thanks for the definitive that the badge is indeed a sweetheart pin. I did not bid for it when it was for sale on ebay as it did not fit into my collection. Pretty badge though. Wish they would have made one of these as a real Officers cap badge. Very similar to the Royal Australian Corps of Signals Officers pattern circa 1930's in enamel and gilt that I show on my web site. Kind regards Chris Walker www.signalsbadges.co.uk |
