Brilliant.
Having experienced (not quite the youtube sort of serious situation) translation issues with the Germans before. This reminds me hearing a quite senior German manager telling us at a meeting that a situation (that he had created...!) was now "worser" (phonetically, "verser"). On trying to diplomatically pick him up on this, we ended up agreeing that it wasn't such a bad use of "Ginglisch" and used it. Sparingly... However, they loved the use of the term "peter plus" i.e. worse than PITA (pain in the a..e). Thanks for being bored and its a good start to the week. David |
