Durham Light Infantry Officers HMSS cap badge
Hi all,
A splendid 1905 Jennens & Co Officer’s silver KC cap badge for the Durham Light Infantry. Think I can squeeze it on to one of my DLI boards, cheers Dean.

That’s a real beauty. I’ve always thought the combination of simple lines and floriated decoration made the DLI cap badge the most attractive of light infantry insignia. Indeed it’s outline shape with superimposed crown inspired the cap badge of the modern day ‘Rifles’ regiment.

Thanks for the comments on a splendid badge. It was won after furious bidding on dLake. All the best to the ‘Faithful’ Dean
