Hi Ray, The Canadian army reserve is organized by commands, and one of the commands is Quebec command. These patches are the two brigades for Quebec Command. So to split hairs they are Quebec patches for the Quebec Command of the Canadian Forces Army Reserve. http://www.army.forces.gc.ca/land-te...-liens-eng.asp

Looks like Canada is divided into 3 sections Western , Central, and not Eastern but Quebec.( guess the Maritimes don't count.According to that site Bill the Maritimes don't count. There is my pet peeve again (LAND ARMY). Looks like these commands are all Militia.

Ray, Last time I checked, Atlantic Area was and still is the Maritimes? The references are for the reserves, and the brigade patches listed in the auction are worn by the reserves.

There's the 36 brigade Gp,comprised of the PEI Regt., 1st Fd Regt,RCA, 84th Ind.Fd.Batt.RCA, 45th Fd Sqn.RCE, Princess Louise Fusiliers, West Nova Scotia Regt. 1st and 2nd Bn. Nova Scotia Highlanders, 33 (Halifax) Service Bn.,35 (Sydney)Service Bn., and most probably the Halifax Rifles,when complete.
37 Brigade Gp.;8th Canadian Hussars, 3rd Fd. Regt.RCA, 56 Fd Sqn.RCE, 1st and 2nd Bn. Royal New Brunswick Regt.,1st and 2nd Bn. Royal Newfoundland Regt. 31 (St-John) Service Bn.,36 (NFLD) Service Bn. You see, you were not forgotten in the big scheme of things from NDHQ. Jo
