Default AT Cadpat Rank Epaulets

Well it took a while for my little package to catch up with me from KAF, but the following images are of the AT Cadpat epaulets I have managed to obtain thus far.

1st up is a Private Recruit or Untrained Soldier to the Signals Corp

2nd is a Private to the 5th Field Ambulance from Valcartier.

Hello Bill, this Major General TW pattern came out of Stores in KAF. I have am certain I have a photo somewhere from Roto 5 or 6 that shows a M-Gen with a TW pattern Epaulet and a TW pattern name tape. It is not the norm for sure, However this slip on was the only one that could be procured at the time I got these examples. Sorry for the slow reply as I was looking for the photo.

As for the ESN it is a french language NES title. If I did the translation correctly, National Support Elelment translates to Élément National de Soutiene

The National Support Element delivers the full range of logistics and equipment maintenance services to units and personnel of JTF-Afg, and supports security, governance and development operations in Kandahar Province. Built on a large core of soldiers from 1 Service Battalion in Edmonton, the NSE also has Regular Force soldiers and civilians from across Canada, and a large Reserve component from Land Force Western Area. Among its other duties, it provides combat supplies and general and technical stores, movement and transportation support, vehicle and equipment maintenance, contracts management, convoy escorts and security assistance to the Commander, Kandahar Airfield (COMKAF).

The NSE consists of the following sub-units:

NSE Headquarters;
Logistics Operations Centre;
Supply and Transportation Company;
Maintenance Company;
Force Protection and Camp Services Company;
Contracts Management Section; and
a group of civilian employees of the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency.
