One for Hagwalther Re first pattern a/a cap badge I have seen both marked -firmin on left of the cross and firmin slider and unmarked examples Are the unmarked items correct and issued for use by the regiment

I'll leave the answer to Chris as he has done the later research, however LB&B have produced badges out of period for the collectors market! I believe Firmin made the early (initial) S&G badges and also the subsequent inlayed badges too http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...ictureid=61668 Andy |
