Default Seeking Opinions on Guards Machine Gun Battalion Please

Pretty confident that this Guards Machine Gun Battalion cap badge is genuine but I'd just appreciate the views of the forum before I offer it for sale.

Thanks in advance

I think this type has a noticeable blunt end slider and a fault under point of the round at 10 o'clock from the rear. I also think its OK. Regards, Paul.

Just to bring up an old thread, was this Guards MG Battalion badge ever made as a voided version?

Thanks,

Terry

The OR's one was solid and in w/m. That has not stopped fakers voiding them or enamelling them or striking them in brass.
