Saw a Poppy pin on eBay , one seller asking £12.95 and another £2.29 so went for the cheaper one. It was only after I'd paid that I noticed it was coming from China !

The £2.29 included postage , so I imagined a 'slow boat from China' and a wait of at least 1 month. It arrived yesterday , only 10 days after I ordered it.

My wife had to renew her British passport and was told that it might take two months all up.

She posted off the old one to the UK and had it back in her hands in about 10 days while our lovely Council took over two months to approve the fitting of a new firebox to our fireplace.......

We were only replacing what had been there before.....
