I'm thinking that might be a WRNS buckle, but I am not 100% sure. I know there are others here with far greater knowledge than I'll ever have who can state for sure.

WRNS Officers didn't wear a belt buckle as they didn't carry swords - and therefore didn't need a swordbelt. The naval officers belt buckle is/was only ever worn on sword and dirk belts.
Female Officers in the Royal Navy DO carry swords and wear a swordbelt. But the buckle is the one worn by all Royal Navy officers with a design of a laurel wreath surrounding a Foul Anchor and topped with a Queen's Crown. Pete |

Thanks for the replies gents.
The lack of crown puzzled me and wondered if it was possibly a shipping line? regards
