Default Cameronian Smasher Hat Badge

Hi All
Thoughts on this one please? I don't even know if it was issued in bronze. I took a chance because the photos looked good but when I received it, it has footed lugs. It is a good solid badge though.
Thanks in advance, cheers,
Alex

Cool Cameronian Smasher Hat Badge

I am not sure whether the Cameronians wore a smasher hat, the Victorian issue was in blackened brass but it was not of this pattern, maybe the Scottish collectors will know more.

If it's smaller than the glengarry badge then it's a pagri badge.

It is the so called officers ‘cheesecutter’ hat badge, also used as a collar I believe in OSD bronze as it’s found in Churchill.
