Queen's Ownn Highlanders plaid brooch

hello all,
i have a question about the QOH plaid brooch.
I have in my collection one in silver/chrome metal and a second in brass and silver/chrome.
All videos i have seen are showing pipers wearing the all silver one.
Question is : who is wearing the second pattern ?
