Default South Wales Borderers Band Pouch Badge

A recent find which appears to be a a band pouch badge for the South Wales Borderers according to the Durand collection (an old catalogued collection to the SWB & Monmouthshires). I’ve shown this against a later Welsh Regiment Officer’s collar for size comparison.
Durand has this is a white metal dragon on green cloth background, however this example has bits of congealed leather and red felt stuck into the back. It is a good quality piece with screw posts to the reverse so definitely a pouch or belt plate.
The cap badge to the 2nd Vol Batt’n Monmouths looks to be the same pattern.
Eddie, over to you for any more info.
Hwyl,
Kevin

Hi Dave,
Thanks for posting yours, any idea why mine has evidence of a red felt backing?
Hwyl,
Kevin
