Default Queens Royal Regiment / West Surrey Regiment badges - real or fake?

Dear all,

Hope all is well.

Please could someone advise as to whether these badges might be genuine or fake if at all possible?

I have labelled them both A and B in the photos.

Badge A - this looks like a copy to me as it appears like it was recently made, however I might be mistaken.

Badge B - this looks to be more genuine in my opinion.

There are subtle differences between the badges, for example, the halo on badge B is smaller than the one on badge A, the length of the flagpoles are different on each, brazing on badge B looks fresh and done in copper whereas badge A's brazing looks like it was done a long time ago - these differences can be seen in the photos.

Any feedback / advice on the authenticity of these badges would be much appreciated.

Many thanks and best regards

They both look genuine to me.

The left hand one with the blunt snout is from a repro die in my opinion.
