Default Aluminium Cap Badges by Shaw Munster

Hi Guys,

Unless I find some other makers and I have a few non identified sliders and lugs this will be the last maker that I know of anodised aluminium cap badges.

Have attached an example of the mark for you all as it is not always that obvious as to what it is.

Let me know what you have in your collections.

Company is still in existance making officially authorised new metal badges and was probably the last to be invoved in A/A production.

Examples so far:

Queen's Royal Lancers
Robin Hood Foresters, 350 Field Squadron Royal Engineers (V)
Royal Green Jackets
University of Wales OTC

Regards

Chris

Thanks Guys,

Mike - badges made by Shaw Munster are (as far as I know) still current issue so they should be out there.

Mike

There is another batch from SM that was not so good.... the MM appears a little further up the slider and the eyes are blemished. See below.

Managed to find one.
RAF side cap badge or RAF civilian drivers badge. Same badge so make your choice. Screw fixings ala RM crown .
