Wink 2nd VB Bedfordshire Regiment

Hi all,

Opinions sort on this one. 2nd VB Bedfordshire but VB scroll not wired on as have seen on other badges like this. Lugs look ok. Show no mercy.

Cheers Dean

Dean,
I'm not a huge fan!

The buckle on the strap looks like an "8" whereas on the originals it is much more rectangular, the ground upon which the Hert is stood lacks the detail found on originals and the font does not look quite right either! The lugs are footed too!

Only my opinion so I would not bin it soley on my account!

Andy

Dean,

I agree with Andy - a fake.
For me the give away is the font on the 2 VB scroll, used on many other fake VB badges.

regards

Compare it to this 3rd VB one for sale at Clanfield. Interestingly with a wired on scroll.

Dean,
here are what I believe are a good one and a bad one! Note the "8" shaped buckle! The good one also has a wired on scroll!

Many thanks chaps for insights and lessons duly noted. Plenty of fish in the ocean and getting my money back to fish again.

Appreciate your help and guidance, what a great Forum, cheers Dean.
