A recently acquired item, a Suffolk Regt slip-on title.

I think this is the type that was issued for tropical wear, but my question is what era was it worn 1940's or 1950's for Malaya?

Help and thoughts appreciated.

These are difficult to date with accuracy but as it has a KD rather than a JG ground I would suggest WW2 vintage, probably worn by the 2nd Bn in India.

Thanks for your reply, yes I think this is of WWII vintage now you say the 2nd Btn were in India. This is the first I've encountered in over sixty years of collecting and seeing as all ranks had at least two I'm surprised there are not more around.
