Hi Jonathan

drop it in some white vinegar for an hour..... then a gentle scrub with a toothbrush and washing up liquid and warm water. it will bring it back to its former glory

its a great piece.... was there another bit above it? A Crown in gilt maybe?

Griff,
PoW plumes usually. I think I have a photo somewhere and seem to recall that there is an example on display with the full uniform at Pembroke Castle.
Hwyl,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin.... I was just thinking if that was an Undress pouch scroll would there be enough room for POWFs? I will have to take a trip to Pembs Castle next summer.
