Unknown Southern African badge
Hi all,
can anyone identify this badge. Badges 009.jpg The language is Tswana and it means "People from different cultures working for the nation." I dont think its military but close. thanks Iain

Hello Iain
The badge is in Owen 2781 and there is a spear point missing from it. It is to the Bophuthatswana Defence Force. Cheers Dave

thanks for the ID, I've never noticed it when I've been scrolling through Owen's but then I tend not to look too much at the latter entries as they are more obscure.  I actually thought it may be Botswana Parks boards.Thanks again and regards, Iain

Hi Iain, you will see the leopards head in many Bophuthatswana badges. The Botswana Parks Board is no. 3597. I agree that the back section of Owen is a bit mixed up, but I suppose that at least it is there. Regards Andrew
