Default Help identifying with Red Cross / Medical badge

Hi
I wonder if anyone can help me identify this medical badge, I am not sure even if it's a military one. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

Default WW1 RAMC GENEVA RED CROSS.

Hi Rob, I am not very knowledgable about this type of badge, but from what I have read in the bible of "British Army Proficiency Badges" it is a WW1 item for use by a Medical Orderly, the badge according to said book was warn on the upper arms{either left or right].
I enclose a couple of photo`s of a similar badge I have, but I am not sure if mine is genuine. Regards Andy.

Hi Andy
Thanks for the info and taking time to post. I have had this badge for a long time and thought I saw something similar on Downton Abbey last week on the TV so dug it out today for opinions on what it was.

Cheers

Rob

Hi Rob
I stand to be shot down by more knowledgable members, but I think the medics badge on the black/dark-blue backing may be from the Royal Navy.
Cheers,
Alex
