Unusual KLR foreign service helmet badge
Not seen anything quite like this before ( badge on the left hand helmet ), the badge on the right hand helmet is as you would expect.
I wonder if the l.h. Badge was made abroad ? P.

It’s certainly a strange looking horse and doesn’t appear to have a “ King’s” scroll, I bet it was replaced at the first opportunity. Peter.

Just as a matter of further interest, I have another picture which I have have had for longer than I can remember which seems to be taken in the same studio as the picture ( the subject of this thread ) which I have only been aware of for a few days.

It is a most unusual badge. On first glance, and I stress glance, i thought it was Herts Yeomanry. His collars are exactly as you would expect.
